Richmond, CA – The Mercury News reports that, on Thursday, February 1, 2024, on the Richmond Parkway near Parr Boulevard, a fiery crash claimed one life. Around 10:25 PM, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) arrived at the accident site to find an SUV in the embankment, upside-down and on fire. One occupant, who did not survive the crash, was found inside. Details have not been released as to the identity of the deceased.
