‘The book needs to be thrown immediately!’ Outrage after drunken mob arson in a California Chinatown

Outrage and calls for swift justice echo across the city as citizens demand criminal charges against vandals responsible for launching fireworks into a Waymo self-driving car in San Francisco’s Chinatown on Saturday night.

The incident, caught on video and now viral on social media, has left the community shocked and concerned about the safety of autonomous vehicles navigating the city streets.

The footage shows the malicious act of fireworks being launched into the autonomous vehicle, resulting in the car catching fire.

Fortunately, no one was inside the vehicle at the time, but the incident has ignited a wave of public outcry over the brazen act of vandalism.

In response to the incident, JC Ortega, a candidate for San Francisco City Supervisor, expressed his dismay and frustration at the lack of order on the city streets. Ortega asserted, “I’m appalled at the chaos allowed on our streets by the leadership. This is the exact reason we need a fully staffed police force and a supervisor who will not let this happen in our city.”
