( KRON ) – Four people were found dead in a welfare check on Monday, according to the San Mateo Police Department.
San Mateo police officers responded at 9:13 a.m. to the 4100 block of Alameda de las Pulgas for a welfare check. The officers located four deceased individuals – a man, a woman, and two children.

According to police, this is an isolated incident with no danger to the public.
Traffic is currently closed northbound Alameda de las Pulgas at 42nd Ave., southbound Alameda de las Pulgas at Fernwood St., and westbound 41st Ave. to Kelton Ct.
Police ask that drivers avoid the area.
