Suspect grabs woman, forces her into car in SF: authorities

( KRON ) — Authorities are searching for a vehicle involved in a “suspicious circumstance” that happened on the right shoulder of US-101 northbound, south of Vermont Street in San Francisco, California Highway Patrol (CHP) announced Thursday on Facebook .

Around 5 p.m. on Feb. 9, witnesses reported that a woman tried to run away from a silver Acura SUV (pictured below). According to CHP, an unknown male suspect grabbed the woman and forced her into the SUV.

The suspect was described to be wearing a white undershirt tank top, beanie and black sneakers. The Acura had a California license plate 7LQG667.

CHP seeks assistance from the public to help locate the vehicle. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact 707-917-4491.
