In a devastating incident, the San Mateo Police Department responded to a welfare check on Monday, February 12, 2024, discovering the lifeless bodies of Anand Henry (father), Alice Benziger (mother), and their twin boys in their residence on the 4100 block of Alameda de las Pulgas.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that Anand Henry, registered owner of a 9mm handgun found at the scene, is the suspected perpetrator. Both adults, Henry and Benziger, succumbed to gunshot wounds. While Benziger suffered multiple gunshot wounds, Henry was found with a single gunshot wound. The twin boys’ cause of death is pending pathology, but it has been confirmed they did not die from gunfire or show signs of trauma.
