2 SFPD motorcycle officers injured in Potrero Hill head-on crash

Two San Francisco motorcycle police officers were injured in a head-on crash Tuesday evening in the Potrero Hill neighborhood.

Video from our crew on scene showed the officers being loaded into an ambulance at Cesar Chavez and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police tell ABC7 News initial information indicates a speeding driver hit the officers.

Both officers and the driver were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say an investigation is underway to determine what caused the crash.
