(KRON) — A woman who was found dead in the Berkeley Marina on September 10 has been identified. The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office identified the woman on Tuesday as 49-year-old Alicia Carbajal of San Leandro.
A witness spotted Carbajal floating in the water at 1:38 p.m. on September 10 near boats docked within the marina. Emergency responders pulled her lifeless body out of the water and alerted the Alameda County coroner.
Investigators have not released the woman’s cause of death.
