Suspect on ATV who hit SFPD officer in February arrested: police

SAN FRANCISCO ( KRON ) — The suspect riding an ATV who hit a San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) officer back in February has been arrested, the department said in a news release on Tuesday. The incident initially occurred on Sunday, Feb. 11 when officers were notified of possible illegal activity after the Super Bowl.

Officers were dispatched to a gas station on the 4200 block of Mission Street on a report of multiple individuals “recklessly” riding dirt bikes, and one of them was on an ATV (pictured below).

The one riding the ATV struck and nearly ran over an SFPD officer, according to SFPD. Police added that the ATV driver “purposefully” collided with a pedestrian. Both the officer and pedestrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

After obtaining a warrant for his arrest, SFPD arrested Julian Alberto Ulloagomez, 31, without incident on Aug. 29 at around 6:15 p.m. The San Francisco resident is facing charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer and filing a false police report.
