Daly City police looking for robbery suspect who threw victim to ground stealing $2K

( KRON ) – The Daly City Police Department is looking for a suspect who robbed and assaulted a woman at an ATM last week, according to the department.

On Sept. 16, a woman was about to deposit $2,000 into her bank account at the ATM near Wells Fargo at the Serramonte Center when a suspect began to grab her from behind. The victim told DCPD that the suspect then wrapped his right arm around her neck and said, “Give me the money” in Spanish.

The victim told Daly City PD, that she felt that the suspect was holding a knife to her throat. According to police, the suspect threw her on the floor, grabbed the money and then kicked her.

Two killed outside Napa home

Daly City PD responded to the scene at 10:21 p.m.

The victim’s husband believes the suspect was a man due to his voice.

The suspect was described as a 5 foot 2 inches tall man who was wearing a black ski mask, a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
