One person injured in shooting near Cow Palace: SFPD

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) said its officers are investigating a shooting Friday evening near the Cow Palace that left one person injured.

SFPD said officers responded at 6:21 p.m. to the area of Carrizal Street and Geneva Avenue where they located an adult victim suffering from an “apparent gunshot wound.”

Officers rendered aid to the victim until paramedics arrived to take them to a nearby hospital. The identity and condition of the victim has not yet been released.

Police said no arrests have been made in connection with this case. Anyone with information is asked to call SFPD at 415-575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411, starting the message with “SFPD.”
