The Bay Area duo have been on the air together for over 20 years. News of the show ending is the second major development for Cumulus Media San Francisco. The company’s sports station KNBR earlier this week parted ways with Tom Tolbert and John Lund.
Barrett Media learned Thursday morning that changes were coming to The Bone’s popular morning show, and would be announced shortly. Multiple sources confirmed the show was ending, but information conflicted about whether or not both hosts were not renewed, laid off or ending the show due to one host retiring.
Lamont and Tonelli are expected to clear up the confusion and address the future on Friday morning.
