( KRON ) – Multiple agencies collaborated to arrest a narcotics trafficker who sells illegal drugs in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
The joint effort was investigated by the San Francisco Police Department Narcotics Unit, the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Agency and the Army National Guard.
The suspect was identified as Oakland resident Kerlin Salgado-Ferrera.
The Narcotics Unit obtained a search warrant for Salgado-Ferrera and his property. On Nov. 13, SF police officers located Salgado-Ferrera leaving his car near California and Polk Streets. Police said after a short pursuit, the Salgado-Ferrera discarded suspected narcotics. Salgado-Ferrera was arrested for narcotics trafficking after finding “suspected narcotics and other items related to dealing drugs” on him.
Suspect threatened men with axe for alleged tryst with girlfriend
SFPD searched Salgado-Ferrera’s Oakland residence in the 10000 block of MacArthur Boulevard. Police said officers located 68.1 grams of fentanyl, 101.6 grams of methamphetamine, 237.2 grams of cocaine, 82.4 grams of suspected fentanyl pills, 5.4 grams of heroin and more than $6,000 in cash.
