On Christmas Day, daytime highs will be mostly in the mid to high 50s on the coast and inland, and in the low to mid 50s around the bay. Overnight lows will be mostly in the 40s.
Chilly temps, clear skies, and recent rains may bring fog and low clouds in the region until Christmas morning. Forecasters say another series of storms enters the North Bay later at night, and persist into the weekend.
Frost Advisories are in effect across the North Bay inland valleys and the interior Central Coast, including the southern Salinas Valley, until 9 a.m. Otherwise, Christmas Day is projected to remain dry across the region.
