Oakland Man with Felon Status Captured with Drugs, Loaded Gun During Livermore Traffic Stop

Last Friday night, something more sinister than a simple traffic violation unveiled itself on the streets of Livermore. At around 10 p.m., local police officers pulled over a BMW SUV near Vasco Road and Northfront Road, only to discover a cache of drugs and a loaded weapon stashed inside the vehicle. The driver, identified as 48-year-old Francisco Apodaca from Oakland, was found to be a convicted felon by Livermore authorities.

The routine stop soon escalated when officers noted telltale signs of drug dealing within the SUV. To thoroughly investigate, K9 Drake was summoned to the scene.
