LAFAYETTE, CALIFORNIA – In early April, an unknown individual walked into two local Lafayette, California, schools. He moved from classroom to classroom, stealing multiple credit cards and other items, the Lafayette Police Department says.
The department says that following the crimes, they conducted a “thorough investigation” and were able to identify the suspect’s vehicle and the man. Digging deeper, they found a pattern of burglaries across seven other cities and counties in California.
