Three-vehicle crash shuts down S.F. freeway ramp to I-80

The ramp from North Highway 101 to East Interstate 80 in San Francisco was shut down late Wednesday morning after three vehicles crashed, authorities said.

The collision, near the South of Market neighborhood, occurred around 11 a.m. on the freeway ramp and resulted in minor injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol. The wreckage, which involved a van, a sports utility vehicle and a sedan, blocked all three lanes on the transition ramp, authorities said.
