Early morning recklessness has once again led to an arrest in the Bay Area community of Daly City, as the Colma Police Department reported the detention of a local resident for DUI. Yuniors Diazestrada, 25, found himself pulled over after a series of dangerous maneuvers that could have ended in tragedy.
The incident, documented publicly on the Colma Police Department’s social media, occurred last Sunday around 2:36 AM, when an officer noted a grey BMW hurtling down East Market Street before making a sharp turn into a residential zone, the car failed to stop at two stop signs disregarding the safety of any potential late night or early morning passersby.
Upon confronting Diazestrada at the intersection where he was eventually stopped, an officer from the Colma Police got a whiff of more than just an engine that worked overtime; the smell of alcohol pervaded, betraying the driver’s impaired state. According to the Colma Police Department, “The Officer contacted a male driver and a male passenger.
