The San Francisco Bay Area had a windy start to the weekend on Saturday, with gusts reaching up to 36mph, and the winds look set to stay with the region for the next few days.
According to Kron4, there’s a potent area of low pressure moving into the Great Basin and an area of low pressure towards the surface, which is exacerbating the current wind gusts. This is making it feel even chillier, and posing risks to those travelling by bicycle and high-profile vehicles.
Saturday saw the strongest gusts the region will see coming into next week, however, and Sunday’s outlook looks much calmer.
