San Francisco police arrested four men on suspicion of trying to rob two people on Lombard Street on Russian Hill last weekend.
The men brandished guns at the victims, pistol-whipped one and demanded property just after 4 p.m. Sunday, according to the San Francisco Police Department. The men did not successfully rob the victims, police said.
Officers arrived at the 1100 block of Lombard Street shortly afterward, and medics treated one victim, police said. The men had fled the area in a car traveling on Lombard Street toward Larkin Street, authorities said…
