A high-speed chase following an attempted carjacking in San Francisco ended with three arrests in Berkeley last Friday afternoon, bringing Interstate 80 to a brief halt.
The California Highway Patrol, in coordination with the San Francisco Police Department, managed to apprehend the suspects after a pursuit that crossed the Bay Bridge into Berkeley.
The incident began around 1:30 PM when undercover officers from the San Francisco Police Department witnessed an attempted carjacking at the intersection of Mariposa and Kansas in the Potrero Hill neighborhood, according to KTVU.
