A Super Duper Burgers restaurant in San Francisco’s Marina District has temporarily closed due to a vermin infestation.
The restaurant, at 2201 Chestnut St., failed its Thursday afternoon health inspection when inspectors discovered vermin droppings on the floor, in the storage area, and behind equipment in the restaurant’s upstairs and basement prep areas, according to the inspection notice filed by the San Francisco Department of Public Health. As of Friday morning, the restaurant remained closed.
Health inspectors also found a “non-functional fryer and cast-off items” in the basement alleyway, which is near the restaurant’s storage area. These items were noted as “potential for vermin harborage area” and must be cleared, according to the inspection report…
