Super Duper Burgers in San Francisco’s Marina cited after rodent droppings found

Super Duper Burgers, a popular Bay Area chain known for its locally sourced ingredients and eco-conscious ethos, received a citation from health inspectors at its Marina District location following a routine inspection that uncovered a vermin infestation.

The restaurant, located at 2201 Chestnut St., was inspected Thursday afternoon by the San Francisco Department of Public Health, which reported finding mouse droppings on the floor, behind equipment in food preparation areas upstairs and in the basement, as well as in the restaurant’s dry storage zone. The inspector also observed “bread containers stored on floor” in the prep area.

In addition to the infestation, health officials noted a “non-functional fryer and cast-off items” in a nearby basement alleyway — conditions identified as potential vermin harborage areas…
