Emergency crews rescue injured person from cliffs of S.F.’s Presidio

Emergency crews rescued an injured person in the cliff area of the Presidio on Saturday afternoon, San Francisco firefighters said.

Crews were searching from the water near Marshall’s Beach and on land by Battery Crosby, the San Francisco Fire Department said. A helicopter from the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office was assisting the search by air, San Francisco firefighters said. About 30 minutes after the search was announced, the fire department said it had found the person and was working to assess injuries.

The fire department said the person did not require a hospital visit. The agency didn’t immediately know what the person was doing when injured or any details of the injury…
