San Francisco Man Charged with DUI After Nearly Sideswiping Colma Police Officer on Serramonte Boulevard

Last Friday, a Colma Police Officer nearly became the victim of a sideswipe incident on Serramonte Boulevard, as the department shared details of the near-miss turned DUI arrest in their latest installment of “Misdemeanor Monday.” The driver responsible, identified as Angel AlvaHernández, a 58-year-old resident of San Francisco, was found to be under the influence when he veered his Ford Ranger across double yellow lines toward the oncoming police vehicle. The officer promptly pursued and conducted a traffic stop in front of 711 Serramonte Boulevard.

During the stop, it became evident to the officer that AlvaHernández exhibited signs of alcohol consumption. Following this encounter, AlvaHernández was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail; his vehicle was also towed from the scene, the Colma Police Department elaborated on their Facebook page…
