Man arrested in hit-and-run incident that struck mother, child in S.F.

A man was arrested Sunday in connection with a hit-and-run crash that sent a mother and her 5-year-old child to the hospital in San Francisco last month, authorities said.

Police said Monday they arrested Jonathan Tyler Lam, 35, at about 6 p.m. Sunday at the Serramonte Center in Daly City. He was booked into San Francisco County Jail and is facing a felony hit-and-run charge.

Lam was accused of striking a mother and her child on the evening of May 24 at 31st Avenue and Clement Street in the Outer Richmond neighborhood.
