SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A dog was safely rescued from the BART tracks on the peninsula Thursday morning, according to Bay Area Rapid Transit. The dog was rescued by BART police and BART foreworkers.

The canine somehow wound up on the trackway near Daly City, leading to delays on the San Francisco Line in the SFO, Millbrae, and East Bay directions. As of around 7:39 a.m., BART was still reporting 20-minute delays.
