U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers on Tuesday continued their arrests at San Francisco immigration courts, where agents emerged from a courthouse side door escorting people in handcuffs into unmarked vehicles.
By midmorning, immigration advocates, observers and volunteers began congregating near the front door of 100 Montgomery St., but details about the arrests weren’t immediately available.
Sanika Mahajan, a worker with the San Francisco Rapid Response Network, said the group confirmed two arrests at the Montgomery Street building, which houses immigration courtrooms on multiple floors.
