Contra Costa sheriff’s officials arrest woman suspected in homicide

A woman was arrested on suspicion of killing a person who was found on a sidewalk in North Richmond on Wednesday, Contra Costa County sheriff’s officials said.

Terri James, a 61-year-old Richmond resident, was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on suspicion of murder, the sheriff’s office said. Her bail was set at $1 million, officials said.
