A Honduran woman was sentenced to over 11 years earlier this week in federal prison for trafficking fentanyl and methamphetamine throughout the Bay Area, while raising children in a home which prosecutors described as a hub for drug activity.
Maria Valle-Rodriguez, 47, received a 135-month sentence on Wednesday after pleading guilty to distribution of 40 grams or more of a mixture and substance containing fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California said in a statement.
