San Francisco police are asking for the public’s help to find a young man after officers discovered his abandoned car near Lake Merced earlier this month.
Justice Goff, 22, was last seen leaving his home on June 3 in the same vehicle, witnesses told police. He is described as a Black man, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 190 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police said he’s known to frequent the 1600 block of Eddy Street in the Western Addition near Fillmore Street.
Officers responded to a report of an abandoned car in the area of Lake Merced Boulevard and Middlefield Drive and identified it as belonging to Goff, SFPD said in a statement to SFGATE. When attempting to contact Goff at the 400 block of Silver Avenue near McLaren Park on June 15, officers were told he had not been seen since June 3. “Reporting parties” then filed a missing persons report for Goff, police said.
