(KRON) — Two teens were arrested Wednesday after the pair had allegedly carjacked a vehicle and parked it next to the San Bruno Police Department.
San Bruno police officers responded at 3:40 p.m. to the 1200 block of El Camino Real on the report of a carjacking that had just occurred. Following the carjacking, authorities said the suspect made “a questionable decision” by pulling into the parking lot directly behind the police station.

“We’d like to thank them for saving us the time and fuel,” San Bruno PD wrote on social media.
A 17-year-old girl was contacted by officers and at the same time a 15-year-old boy began to run, police said. After catching the boy, SBPD said officers found a loaded firearm and the victim’s keys in his possession.
Both suspects were booked into the Hillcrest Juvenile Detention Facility for carjacking and weapons violations…
