San Francisco police seize nearly 5 pounds of fentanyl from Oakland home

San Francisco police seized nearly 5 pounds of fentanyl while executing a search warrant Wednesday in Oakland, acting chief Paul Yep announced Friday.

San Francisco Police Department officers worked with law enforcement from the San Francisco Sheriff’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the California Highway Patrol to serve the warrant at a home in the 3100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way, police said.

Officers seized more than 5 pounds of narcotics, police said, including 4.87 pounds of fentanyl, and more than $52,000 in cash. Officers also took narcotics packaging materials and scales from the home, police said…
