S.F. police arrest 97 people in one day, including 79 with outstanding warrants

San Francisco police and other law agencies made 97 arrests Wednesday, authorities said, in what appeared to be one of the department’s largest one-day enforcement operations in recent history.

Seventy-nine of the individuals had arrest warrants, police said. Officers also seized 16.5 grams of suspected narcotics, including fentanyl, cocaine base and methamphetamine, on Wednesday.
