(KRON) – The employees of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland said they would end their strike on Monday morning. The group’s scheduled picket line for Sunday was canceled.
According to the union, a federal judge denied their request for an injunction that would have stopped UCSF Health from proceeding to cancel union contracts. The cancellation would constitute Oakland Hospital employees as direct UCSF employees.
The union says that UCSF Health has an “integration plan” set to commence on July 6.
