One person rescued from third floor in San Francisco fire

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A fire that broke out Tuesday morning on the third floor of a multi-story residential building near San Francisco’s Mid-Market neighborhood injured one person, according to fire officials.

The San Francisco Fire Department responded just before 8 a.m. to the Rose Hotel at 125 Sixth Street on the report of a fire. Arriving crews found the active blaze on the third floor of the supportive housing building.

Firefighters rescued one person from the third floor, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the fire, SFFD said. The person was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Another person leaped to a nearby rooftop from the third-story window, according to the fire department. That person was rescued from the adjacent rooftop without injuries…
