A Colorado woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a newborn baby girl whose body was found in a San Francisco Bay Area dumpster in 2009.

The Union City Police Department announced that Angela Onduto, 46, was arrested and charged with murder after her DNA matched evidence previously collected while investigating the death in 2009.

“The newborn, lovingly named Matea Esperanza by UCPD officers — a name meaning “Gift from God” in Hebrew and “Hope” in Spanish — was discovered by a man searching for recyclables,” the Union City Police Department wrote in a statement…
