S.F. police investigate unprovoked attack of woman outside Rincon Hill grocery store

A group of about five people who appeared to be in their teens attacked a woman without provocation while she was walking in San Francisco’s Rincon Hill neighborhood Monday night, police and a witness said.

The woman told officers she was walking on Folsom Street around 9:35 p.m. when the group attacked her without provocation, police said. The woman said she tried to run away, but the group chased her and shoved her to the ground before taking off.

She did not report any injuries, police said…
