South Bay company outraged over employee being detained by ICE

A South Bay company is demanding answers after it says one of its employees was detained by federal agents during a hearing at a local immigration court despite being in the country legally and having a valid work permit.

The employee at Pivot Interiors in Santa Clara was walked out of San Francisco immigration court in handcuffs earlier this month.

While Pivot Interiors did not want to share the employee’s name, the company said she was working legally as an installer. The company also said the video of her being detained was haunting…
