Woman apprehended after fleeing 10-vehicle crash scene on 101 in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A woman was arrested after fleeing the scene of a multi-vehicle crash with injuries on the northbound lanes of Highway 101 in San Francisco Tuesday. All lanes are back open after the crash had earlier blocked the right two lanes, according to the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management.

According to the California Highway Patrol, units responded to a 10-vehicle crash on Highway 101 just south of Vermont Street. One of the drivers involved attempted to flee the scene on foot, according to the CHP.

That driver, who the CHP identified as an adult female, allegedly entered a business and assaulted an employee prior to the accident. The female drove off from the scene of the assault in a white Chevy pickup truck and got on the highway…
