Alameda County officials said Wednesday that they identified the remains of a person whose skeletal remains were found floating in the Alameda Marina almost 17 years ago.
The human remains were identified as Esteban Pablo Pablo, a 20-year-old man last seen in Alameda County in 2007, the county sheriff’s office said. It was not immediately clear how he died.
Some of his unidentified remains were first found in September 2008 with a “white or gray sock and a size 8.5 Vision brand ‘skateboarder’ type shoe,” the sheriff’s office said…
