S.F. prosecutors file murder charges against suspect in Ingleside stabbing

San Francisco prosecutors filed murder charges against a man accused of fatally stabbing another man in the city’s Ingleside neighborhood over the weekend, officials announced Wednesday.

The defendant was identified as 29-year-old Sean Collins, who was in custody as of  Wednesday morning, according to the San Francisco District Attorney’s Pffice.

Officers, responding to a stabbing report near Ocean Avenue and Lee Street around 4:12 p.m. Saturday, discovered a man suffering from a stab wound, prosecutors said. The victim was quickly brought to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead, prosecutors said…
