Man killed by Richmond police ID’d as U.S. Marine

RICHMOND, Calif. (KRON) — Two Richmond Police Department officers shot a man to death after he allegedly threatened people inside a home Monday, police said.

Days after the deadly police shooting, the man was identified as 27-year-old Angel Montano, who served in the U.S. Marines as a reserve officer, his family wrote on a verified GoFundMe page.
