(KRON) — A man wanted by the Los Angeles Police Department for kidnapping and gun charges was arrested in San Bruno Wednesday.
The 36-year-old man from South San Francisco was arrested after San Bruno Police Department officers stopped his truck on a freeway onramp around noon. Officers searched the truck and allegedly found a loaded, unregistered handgun underneath the center console.
“Creative hiding spot, but not quite creative enough,” San Bruno PD said.
On Thursday, detectives with the LAPD flew to the Bay Area to pick up the suspect and bring him to Los Angeles to face criminal charges. San Bruno PD is also filing charges with the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office for weapons charges related to the seized handgun…
