High-Speed Rail’s Valley stage schedule adjusted one year earlier than expected

FRESNO, Calif (FOX26) — The High Speed Rail Authority says Central Valley Service will start in 2032, which is one year earlier than previously predicted, according to a report released on Friday.

The original timeline, when the voters approved the project in 2008, projected full completion between San Francisco and Los Angeles as early as 2020, a goal that has been repeatedly delayed and scaled back.
