A man who escaped custody in Washington state was arrested in Benicia this week after someone reported a suspicious person, police said.
On Thursday just before 11 a.m., officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on Lake Herman Road near the reservoir.
Police made contact with Michael McGrath, 30, who allegedly falsely identified himself. Eventually officers discovered that he was wanted out of Washington on suspicion of ten counts of arson and had escaped from a community custody program…
