S.F. police chase ends with suspect found in water off Pier 30

A man wanted for a violent felony in Southern California was arrested in San Francisco after a chaotic pursuit Tuesday, police said.

Officers spotted Natomee Hilton, a 23-year-old resident of San Francisco, driving near Market and Jones streets in the Tenderloin neighborhood and tried to stop him by deploying a spike strip, a device used to attempt to impede vehicles, the San Francisco Police Department said.

Hilton fled the area after he reversed his vehicle onto a sidewalk, slammed into vehicles and a building, police said. A pursuit ensued…
