Police in San Francisco apprehended a wanted man under a pier Tuesday after calling off a vehicle pursuit that became too dangerous.
At about 12:45 p.m., officers in the Tenderloin saw “known suspect” Natomee Hinton, 23, in the area of Market and Jones streets, who they said was wanted in Southern California on suspicion of a violent felony.
Police attempted to disable Hinton’s vehicle on Jones Street near Golden Gate Avenue by laying down a spike strip and using their patrol cars to block him in, but he reversed his vehicle onto the sidewalk near officers, the department said…
