San Francisco police ask public to help find missing 14-year-old girl

Police are seeking the public’s help finding a 14-year-old girl who went missing a month ago in San Francisco.

The San Francisco Police Department is searching for Maryeli Rivera, who was reported missing on July 28. Police said officers responded at about 7:10 p.m. that day to the 400 block of Potrero Avenue after Rivera left the house a few minutes before.

Maryeli is Latina, stands 5 feet 2 inches and weighs about 140 pounds. She has black hair and black eyes and was last seen wearing a black crop top with red pants. She is known to frequent the area of Third Street in the Bayview, police said…
