S.F. DA charges man who led police on a wild chase across town

San Francisco prosecutors charged a man in connection with a chaotic pursuit he led police on from the Tenderloin to Embarcadero, officials said Friday.

Natomee Hinton, 23, faces charges including assault on a peace officer with a deadly weapon, multiple counts of evading police, hit-and-run and possession of burglary tools, prosecutors said.

On Tuesday at around 12:40 p.m., officers near Market and Jones streets spotted Hinton, who they soon discovered was on parole and had a no bail warrant for robbery out of Los Angeles County, prosecutors said.
