After a week marked by sandstorms, rain, long gate closures and a late-week return to sun and heat, Black Rock City released a first look at who made it to the Playa this year for Burning Man 2025.
The preliminary census — drawn from random sampling at the city gates — shows a community that remains largely middle-aged, highly educated and overwhelmingly white.
